I love this idea! Another example of how the diversity on the internet can create a market that wouldn’t exist in the ‘Old Media’ world:
I Do…Now I Don’t
These days, an estimated 50% of marriages end in divorce. So what happens after the divorce? What do you do with the ring? When you turn around and sell a ring, you are taking a big loss. The price you will get for the ring will be sharply discounted from what was originally paid. In most cases, you will only get 25-35% of the purchase price and that´s if you are lucky.

The new F-22 Raptors have apparently been hit by a software bug during their flight from Hawaii to Japan. People are speculating that this is due to crossing the International Date Line. If this is the problem, it’s likely to be the rollover from 180*W to E.
This isn’t the first time this has happened, from Risks Digest 3.44:
Since the F-16 is a fly-by-wire aircraft, the computer keeps the pilot from doing dumb things to himself. So if the pilot jerks hard over on the joystick, the computer will instruct the flight surfaces to make a nice and easy 4 or 5 G flip. But the plane can withstand a much higher flip than that. So when they were 'flying' the F-16 in simulation over the equator, the computer got confused and instantly flipped the plane over, killing the pilot [in simulation]. And since it can fly forever upside down, it woulddo so until it ran out of fuel.

Today on the way to work, there was a pickup in front of me in the fast lane. He was going way too slow, so I was going to flash my lights at him when I realized that his windshield wipers weren’t working. He was leaning out his window, cleaning it off with a squeegee. Nice. Eventually he made it into the slow lane.
Just another day of commuting in Vancouver.

Jeremy brought back some memories from high school with his post about curling. Too bad it also includes his personal grooming habits as well. Heh, anyway. Looking forward to the Brier this year!
