Design from Web 2.0 makes it into the newspaper world
As far as I know, the idea of using larger font sizes to describe larger groups comes from the Web 2.0 crowd, usually for things like a ‘tagcloud’. It looks like the Vancouver Sun has used that idea for their front page article on property values in BC. The larger the font, the larger the increase in property values.
If only my net worth followed this trend. Our townhouse increased in value almost exactly in line with Port Moody’s reported 28.9% increase, but that was before we bought it. ![]()
