Mackenzie Financial has the best RRSP Calculator I’ve found so far. It’s easy: plug in your present income, inflation rates, current savings, current contributions, when you plan to retire, and how long you plan to live after retirement. It gives you the amount to increase or decrease your payments.

Tracy and I are planning to use the Home Buyer’s Plan so we’ll be withdrawing pretty much all of our money from our RRSP accounts, but once we start building it back up again I’ll be checking back at this site every year or two to adjust my payments.
