Hehe, I guess I assumed too much about you being in Vancouver! :D I'm probably going to be driving at 2:00 tomorrow so I'll listen in the car, and I won't be able to call in and harass you guys. :P CKNW is a good station, they're quite popular for local news and hopefully you won't get preempted by anything to do with the teacher's strike.

One thing to note, Rock101.com is already doing podcasts! They're part of the Corus Network, so hopefully the technology will transfer over.

Let's test out my RSS feeds, I don't think anybody has ever done this before. I should probably set up FeedBurner to do handle my feeds so I can track this kind of situation.

I completely agree about your temporary subscriptions. I wish I could set up some kind of threshold in my RSS reader, where things that go past the horizon disappear permanently. It would probably be based on n days like you said, although I would like something like 'n days since the last article found'.

Oh, and I just realized, the Bryght guys are probably all still in Amsterdam right now!

Actually, the show will be done over the phone, and I'll be at home in Portland, OR, as will the other guests (I'm assuming).

I was approached and asked to be on the show - not sure why they didn't ask Darren or any of the Bryght folks. The show sounds like it's not super technical, though. They wanted my perspective as a regular podcaster.

At any rate, I hope we can make the show interesting and informative! :-)
