The CBC reports that Kazaa mounts the Betamax defence, where they claim that they aren’t violating copyright, it’s up to the users. The same argument that Sony used for the Betamax. I think this would work in Canada, but the Aussies seem to be bending over backwards to please the Americans lately so I’m not so sure this argument will work down under.
