Disappointing Grey Cup
Well, it’s the Monday after the Lions lost the big game. It was such a great lead up, everyone thought the Lions were going to take it all.
Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. It was even more disappointing since I had Aaron, Am, Morgan, and Justin over to watch the game. Made some ribs in the crock pot and wings in the George Foreman grill.
I think the loss came down to a few things:
- Poor passing game for the Lions. Geroy Simon was ineffective. But it there was also amazing pass coverage by the Argos, something they haven’t seen from teams like the Riders.
- Poor defense from the Lions.
- Poor disciple from Dickenson. Two time violations when trying for the 2 point conversion play. That’s the point when they lost the game.
- Playoff jitters from O’Mahoney. 16, 23, 9 yard punts. Ouch… he got a bit better near the end of the game, but it was nowhere near the Western final performance.
With that said, Antonio Warren played an amazing rushing game, and probably would have been MVP if the Lions had won it.

You think they got it bad!
I live in cleveland.
We’re just used to having teams that never go to the top.
Now we’re starting over again using our 3rd string QB with the Pats coming to town with 1 loss.
